Yves Godbout has been an extreme metal vocalist for more than a decade now. He developed his craft through various projects like Within Anguish and more recently with the Growlers Choir. He also shared his voice for collaborations with projects such as Lacrimae Mortalium, Barrdo et Disorientation. His passion for guttural and dissonant vocals was brought to him during his youth through, of course, music, but also role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, Fantasy Hero and World Of Darkness. Add to this some video games including Diablo, Mass Effect, Assassin’s Creed, StarCraft, Eternal Darkness, etc. Accumulating more than 20 years of experience in diverse RPGs and 15 years in the world of LARPing, Yves is a walking encyclopedia of anything that touches gaming, mythologies and anything related to fantasy subjects. In addition to music, Yves is pursuing his artistic path through writings, photography and creation of original material for RPGs. The culmination of some of these projects, brought him to publish a photo book on the thematic of….Screaming! His enthusiasm for such projects entices him a desire to lend his voices to your digital creations.

Frontmand and founder of the international death metal band ABORTED (Century Media) who has released over 13 fullengths and various EP’s, averaging about 100+ shows per year touring the globe as well as being the front man of the bands COFFIN FEEDER and FETAL BLOOD EAGLE. Obsessed with the macabre, horror, pop culture and gaming, these have been his main lyrical inspirations and Sven even joined the Doom Eternal choir to provide some grotesque sounds for that video game.
